Escape from your family post-Thanksgiving and hang out with Museum producer Jenny Nixon as she screens two WILD movies featuring lady crime bosses. We’ll start with the colorful stuntwoman-avenging-her-murdered-sister sleazefest VENDETTA (1986), which features a kooky jailhouse talent show (?!) plus ALWAYS SUNNY’s Sandy Martin (aka Mac’s Mom) as the tuff-as-nails queen of the inmates. This flick is such bizarro action-packed fun.

After a brief intermission, we’ll screen the way-underrated DREDD (2012), featuring an unrelenting Karl Urban in the eponymous role, facing off against psychopathic drug lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey from GAME OF THRONES) in a hyper-violent irradiated metropolitan hellscape. Box office be damned, DREDD fuckin’ rips!
