The epochally banal ’78 variety special brings together TV stalwarts Harvey Korman(!), Art Carney(!!), and Bea Arthur(!!!!) with a whole family of grunting Wookies, the OG cast STAR WARS, a few musical numbers and a buckshot of comedy bits. It’s shot on video like a soap opera and ends up feeling like a transmission from Mars…or daytime programming on VIDEODROME’s Channel 83.
